Long Angle Gully Landcare

Waratah Long Angle Creek

Waratah Long Angle Creek

LALC began in 2006 with a few local Warrimoo residents interested in preserving the integrity of the bushland in their local area.

The group meet monthly with support from Blue Mountains City Council and has the Remote Bushcare program support the group once a year.

Work undertaken includes; Weed removal, biological control of weeds, planting and erosion control.

The group has worked along Fitzgerald’s creek, Long Angle creek, and the unnamed creek, which feeds into Cripple creek. The group also works along the system of fire trails throughout the area and is involved in the catchment group.
